6. Zifferblatt
French bronze clock of Restoration period, Charles X. A Chinese Mandarin under an umbrella is sitting on the rock which houses the movement, holding a medaillon in his hand showing a woman’s silhouette. The bronzes of the whole clock are of a fine quality, very elaborated. Silvered brass dial with Roman numerals surrounded by a casted brass ring of flowers and fruits. 8 day spring wound movement of Paris type, half and full hour striking on bell, locking-plate striking system, anchor escapement, blach Breguet type hands. Silk suspension pendulum with fine adjustement from the back of the movement. The manufacturer’s label on the backplatine unfortunatley is not to identify because some letters of the name are missing. Measurements of the case - height x width x depth: approx: 53 cm x 32 cm x 12,5 cm – weight of clock: 8,5 KG. This clock was made approx. 1830. We guarantee that all parts of this clock originally fit together, except minute hand, which had to be replaced during restoration work. Price upon request
