Fire gilded ‚borne’ type bronze clock of Louis Philippe period, topped by a bowl. The centre part as well as feet and bowl are dyed and it is decorated by crossed cornucopias. The dial is surrounded by a casted brass ring of roses.

8 day spring wound movement of Paris type, half and full hour striking on bell, locking-plate striking system, anchor escapement, ornate brass hands. Silk suspension with fine adjustement from the back of the movement.

Silvered brass  dial with Roman hour numerals and seller’s signature: Gombault à Caen.
