Being the yongest daughter of a king and loving ‚Armor’ the son of the greek goddess ‚Venus’ she got immortal by herself – she got a goddess.  Psyche, what means ‚soul’ in greek language is also represented by a butterfly on the front of this clock because the butterfly is he symbol for renaissance, resurrection and immortal soul not only in greek cultue.

8 day spring wound movement of Paris type, half and full hour striking on bell, locking-plate striking system, anchor escapement, ornate brass hands. Silk suspension pendulum with fine adjustement from the back of the movement.
